Rene Susan DeBeer, 73, of Whitesboro passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Just Like Home. The family will hold a remembrance gathering on April 27, 2019, at 2:30 pm.  It will be held at Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville, Texas.  She was born in California on July 22, 1945 to Franz Eugene and Lorraine L. (Paul) DeBeer. She was a home designer by trade and volunteered at Your Neighbors House in Whitesboro.

Rene is survived by her sister, Cindy DeBeer and husband, Larry Peck of Whitesboro, grandson, Joshua Cody DeBeer of Oregon, sister-in-law, Eileen Weldon of Seattle, niece, Stacy Weldon Taylor, niece, Holly Weldon Glarson and nephew, Danny Weldon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Franz and Lorraine DeBeer, brother, Ronald Weldon DeBeer and son, Richard Anthony DeBeer.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations be made to Your Neighbors House in Whitesboro, Texas or Guardian Hospice, Sherman, Texas.
